Imagine your favorite song from the 1970s. Got it? Now, imagine the song being played by a most excellent band. Excited? Now, let your mind go. Imagine if that band played your song and was backed by a 70-piece orchestra made up of winds, brass, and percussion. To top it off - YOU get to sing or play with the group. Sound like a pretty cool fantasy? Guess what. It's coming true on June 16, 2012!
If you love the music of the '70s - Led Zeppelin, Dire Straits, ELO, solo McCartney or Lennon, maybe even, God forbid, some Disco - if you love your 1970s tunes, then bring your 8-tracks with you to Rock 'N' Winds '70s Night. The 70-piece Hanover Wind Symphony is teaming up with your 10-piece YouChoose Band to play the songs YOU want to hear. Every song played on June 16th is by request - YOUR request*. If you love singing Crosby, Still & Nash, the Bee Gees, Fleetwood Mac, Donna Summer, or Elton John, tell us*, and come on out to Rock 'N' Winds '70s Night.
The net proceeds are going to two great non-profit organizations: The Hanover Wind Symphony and the New Jersey Chapter of The Special Olympics.
Come out for a tailgate party, dinner, music, dancing, and YOUR requests*. It's going to be an awesome evening of incredible music. We hope to see you there!
* Making a request is easy. Just email Dave@MyYouChoose.com, tell him the song you want to hear, and you'll be done. You'll have to pay for your request. Please see the amounts in the ticketing section.
